The Central Valley Flood Protection Board (CVFPB) is holding public meetings in Sacramento in March and in various places in April on the Central Valley Flood Protection Plan (CVFPP).  Information about the meetings is available on the CVFPB website.

The Department of Water Resources has released the list of Draft Grant Award Recommendations from the 2008 USRP Grant Solicitation.  The list is now available for public review and can be found at the USRP website

3/29/2013  DWR Releases Preliminary Funding Recommendations, Central Valley Flood System Conservation Framework & Strategy PSP

The Department of Water Resources (DWR) has released its preliminary funding recommendations to direct Proposition 1E funding to flood management projects and activities in support of the Central Valley Flood Protection Plan (CVFPP) and Conservation Strategy. 5/18/2012  CONGRESSWOMAN MATSUI ANNOUNCES FUNDING FOR SACRAMENTO FLOOD PROJECTS IN YEAR-END 'MEGABUS' BILL

Congresswoman Doris Matsui (D-Sacramento) voted to pass the nine-bill "megabus" appropriations package for fiscal year 2012. The megabus included the Energy and Water appropriations bill which funds the Army Corps of Engineers and, in turn, Sacramento's flood projects.
