California Extreme Precipitation Symposium

The 2016 California Extreme Precipitation Symposium (CEPSYM), whose theme is Future Directions of
Weather Forecasting and Reservoir Operations, is set for Tuesday, Sept. 6 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in
Sacramento during the workshop day of the FMA Conference. Attendance of the Symposium requires
separate registration and an additional registration fee of $100.

  • NOAA Plans for Improving Forecast Models and Computing Power
  • Ensemble Forecasting Replacing Deterministic Forecasting: Why is This Important?
